I often think about how racism impacted my life, there are times when internal anger surfaces as I walk through life with a bit of an edge based on the decades of suffering that’s preceded by birth. I want to honor our ancestors, organizers, allyship, and change-makers of the past to inspire my light and movement as we continue the struggle for diversity, equity, and inclusion now and into the future.
